Why is friar lawrence to blame for the deaths essay?

While Romeo fled form Verona, Friar Lawrence gave Juliet a vile of a sleeping "Medicine" so she could fake her death and be with Romeo. When the funeral was held Romeo's friend went and saw Juliet's body lifeless, so he went to Romeo. He told him that Juliet was dead, Romeo then went to where Juliet's body laid killed himself with a vile of poison, then Juliet woke up and stabbed herself with a dagger when she saw Romeo next to her lifeless.
