What technique was used to create the portrait of king akhenaten, his wife nefertiti, and their three daughters (4.6.7)?

The technique that was then being used in order to portray king Akhenaten, the 3 daughters and his wife Nefertiti was sunken-relief carving. This is a kind of carving that does not go on the flat surface and this is called cavo-relievo.

Iwould say overhead, b/c front would shine in their face, and might mess up the picture, especially if taken by a so either front or overhead, but i'm leaning towards overhead
