I'm really, really tired and stressed right now, so my brain literally doesn't work in any way. (Music/band class.) What emotions does Adagio for Strings convey?

For me the song conveys sadness and longing, like a cloudy and rainy day. It’s a very lyrical and smooth piece so there aren’t a lot of happy and upbeat emotions or parts.
