One of the greatest Baroque movement representors in music was for sure Jean Baptiste Lully. Although he was born in Italy, Lully was French, and he spent most of his career on French court, working for Louis XIV. Some historians are even considering him to be the composer who first started using conductor's baton. He is considered to be the father of French opera, which obviously tells us about the influence that Italian music had on him. He wrote famous operas, such as Theseus, Cadmus and  Hermione and many others.

Explanation:

Lully was famous even during his lifetime, and was appreciated both as a great composer and violinist. He influenced the development of classical music in France the most and together with Moliere created the so-called comedie ballet.
