Georg Friedrich Handel is a famous German composer, who spent most of his career in London, where he created most of his famous works. He was a representor of Baroque movement, and was heavily influenced by Italian baroque music. He was mostly known to us through his operas, among which the most famous ones are Messiah, Judas Maccabeus. and Israel in Egypt.

Handel was a contemporary of Bach, and  is probably the most famous Baroque representative in music. He spent most of his life working in London, where he created most of his works. But even before that he was famous and known across Europe. He even influenced some of the greatest composer of Classicism.
