Theres always going to be some emotion behind "I dont care"
And pain, behind every "its okay"

That is in fact correct but because of today's society we have to hid behind out false masks. If we uncover our masks we are vulnerable to false hope. The world is a cruel place where everyone is fake and false and full of false hope and there's nothing we can do about it. The world is terrible and our thoughts are terrible. People do bad things but if you think about it everyone learns to do bad things by watching someone else do it. The world is taught bad things by someone or something so are we all just as bad as criminals? We all know what how to do bad things, we never act on them but what if we did? Would that make us bad? no it'd make us human because human do bad things. In order to hide our true sides that are bad we hide behind a mask of words. "I'm okay", "it's okay", "i'm fine", "don't worry about it". Without these masks we are seen as needy and maybe we are but we don't show it.

Explanation:

I'm a terrible human being and so is everyone else. I know that from my trauma. I was admitted into a mental hospital and seen other's who would talk to them-self's. They didn't know how to control them-self's and it's not their fault. They took off their mask and now they are seen as mentally unstable. So in my opinion masks are good because without them you will not be seen as normal but as different and in this world we don't do different. That's my perspective of masks.
