Aperture priority is the camera setting that allows the user to set the aperture value. The shutter speed is automatically matched by the camera as per the aperture to get the proper exposure as per the lighting conditions detected by the camera's light meter. It is abbreviated as A or Av on the camera mode dial. We should use the aperture priority when we want to get deep depth of field.
