I have oil paints but I don't know what I should paint any ideas:)

In what way did van gogh put paint on his canvas when he painted wheatfield with crows? he put his paint on the canvas using very thin strokes of paint. he put his paint on the canvas using very well blended strokes of paint. he put his paint on the canvas as thick as toothpaste.
