Do an Internet search on fashion design in a period of time before the 2000s. Find a photo of a design that interests you. Describe in detail the era represented in the photo. Think about what was happening during that time, in that culture. Or take a guess! What was the function of the garment? What type of fabric could have been used? Imagine where the fabric came from. How could this same style be incorporated into modern design?
