This is really true. In works of art, we unconsciously include bias from our world, and our time. A good example of this is old sci-fi cartoons. In that time, the sci-fi they where portraying was very technologicaly advanced. Now, it is nothing. In fact, take a look at any old movie. The outfits, and dress shows what was the 'thing' then. Cartoonists may steryotypes, but all steryptypes come from somewhere, real life! If you look closely at anything a cartoonist may say or do, it all comes from somewhere. Negative, or positive, the source is life.
