Descriptive writing creates an impression in the reader's mind of an event, a place, a person, or thing.Figurative language is language that uses words or expressions with a meaning that is different from the literal interpretation.  Literal language means exactly what it says, while figurative language uses similes, metaphors, hyperbole, and personification to describe something often through comparison with something different.Sarcasm is a literary and rhetorical device that is meant to mock with often satirical or ironic remarks with a purpose to amuse and hurt someone or some section of society simultaneously.  There are three types of irony: verbal, situational and dramatic. Verbal
irony occurs when a speaker's intention is the opposite of what he or she is saying. For example, a character stepping out into a hurricane and saying, “What nice weather we're having!
