Love this book! Reminds me of when I was in middle school. Here's what i think would be a good cast:

Holling Hoodhood: Asa Butterfield 
Doug Sweitick: Thomas Sangster? He's kinda old but looks really young. doubt they'd cast him as an 7th grader. So maybe not
Mrs. Baker: Possibly Vera Farmiga. she's the only one who stuck to my mind.
