When looking at these definitions from the perspective of visual arts:

Design is a repeated pattern it can also be taken into its literal meaning which is a plan of an art piece.

Art can be defined as the expression of creativity of an individual usually int he forms of paintings, sculptures, music, and such.

Decoration can be defined as the process of adorning something.

Visual Literacy is a skill in which someone deciphers and defines information given to them in the form of an image or art.
