what is pop art? who created it? how was it popular? (using for my research page so no c&p please)

Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, and Claes Oldenburg are all artists from new york who made pop art more popular. Pop Art is an art movement, which orignated in the UK. It's based off modern popular culture, the mass media. It also similar to the art style of a comic book.

Explanation:

Based off research, prior knowledge, and yes this is in my own words.

1 - since it's a library, i'd like putting a sculpture from ancient greece, probably from the hellenistic epoch.

2 - i'd also like the statue to be from a famous person from that time, a philosopher of possible.

3 - i'd want the statue to be of a man sitting down on a tree stump with a book on his hands (either writing or reading), to demonstrate the love for reading.

4 - i'd also like to have the statue with a darkish colour and high contrast, as well as a statue that resembles balance and a little movement on his head if he is reading or on his hand if he's writing.
