Many people in the Deaf community view deafness as a different way of experiencing the world, rather than as a disability. This can be hard for hearing people to imagine. Think about the things you enjoy every day. What accommodations would need to be made - if any - for a Deaf person to do the things that you enjoy doing? Are there any activities that you aren’t sure a Deaf person WOULD be able to do?
