This is a poem I wrote for my dog... Your love was like the ocean waves
No matter how far you would stray
Your love always brought you back for more
Your patience was like that of a flower waiting to bloom

You were our protector
You may have been small
But you gave it your all

Some say dogs aren't that smart,
But you are proof that they are wrong
You could do things most dogs can’t
Nothing would stand in your way
Not a door or a gate

For eleven years you were with us
And for eleven years you were my best friend
In our hearts you will forever be loved, remembered
Never to be forgotten
We love you and we miss you
Our dear little Miley.
