What is the first step in transferring photographs from your camera to your computer?

Taking the picture.

Depending on if you take it with a phone, or a physical camera. 

For a phone, connect with internet, and transfer it via usb to the computer

if a physical camera, most likely you would go and get a print out of it, and then take a picture with a phone to get it on photoshop
