Ana mendieta uses as an artistic medium in her work "untitled" (3.9.11).

In Untitled (Siluetas Series, 1976), Ana Mendieta made a human silhouette in the sand. She then added red pigment on it. The series of photographs she captured represented the decaying of the human body as the waves began to take away the sand until there was no trace of the silhouette left.

i think cheerleading is definitely a form of art. or at least it should be! not everyone has what is takes/and or the determination to become a cheerleader. it takes practice and hard work, along with being able to master a move correctly, like dancing. dancing is a form of art, and i think cheerleading is too. not everyone can dance, just like not everyone can be a cheerleader.
