Photosynthesis is the process of which plants make their own food. the chloroplasts in the cells of the plant take in sunlight co2 and convert it into glucose and and release oxygen. there are two stages: the light dependent reactions and the calvin cycle. co2+water with sunlight yield to glucose and oxygen.

The carbon dioxide that the plants intake clean the air and remove pollution. the plants release oxygen into the air as photosynthesis occurs, giving other organism the air they need to breathe. the sugars that the plant creates gives it energy and create carbohydrates in food producing plants.  chloroplasts, are located in the leaves of most plants, are organelles found inside of mesophyll cells and are where photosynthesis actually takes place.pigments absorb the sunlight into the photosynthetic organism.  stomates are found primarily in the lower epidermis of leaves. stomates are small holes that open and close as needed to allow co2 to enter and o2 to exit.hope my answer is what you are looking for : )
