Clinical trials occur under very specialized, controlled conditions that do not represent everyday life. generalizing the results obtained in this environment to populations not engaged in the research is a concern for this type of study.

Randomized Clinical Trial

In this type of study, assigned or randomized people are grouped in two and are followed over time to see which group achieves a particular result. The two groups receives different interventions. The outcomes for each are then evaluated and the risk of one group developing the result are compared and calculated.
