Fc is a 54-year-old man with a history of chronic heavy alcohol use. he has frequent bouts of gastrointestinal bleeding for which he has been hospitalized on six separate occasions over the years. he continues to drink and exhibits most of the common manifestations of alcoholic cirrhosis. he was recently hit by a car and was hospitalized for a broken leg. he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and had a blood alcohol level of 1.8. fc's family reports that his mental functioning has deteriorated significantly over the past few months.

The fact is, if i were a doctor, FC would not have left my care until FC recieved care for Chronic Abuse of Alcohol. Which also accompanies many mental disorders. i took an oath as a Healthcare professional in the Navy. Doctors and Civilian practitioners are not doing enough to follow their oaths. Its about more than going through the motions and not violating a contract. Keeping an oath is a lifestyle, its often times going to be a risk to your livelihood, future, and family life. So anyone claiming to be a "healthcare Professional" that does not risk it all to prevent such happenings as preventable death, is nothing short of a misguided individual. There is my complete answer. FC either gets help or a stroke, heart attack, exsanguination "bleed out" internally is likely in their future. If they havent disowned you, you aren't trying hard enough. thats a quote and not an accusation.
