1. A five-carbon sugar, which can be Deoxyribose or Ribose depending on whether a DNA or RNA molecule is being formed respectively. The difference between the two sugar molecules is the deficiency of a single oxygen (deoxy) in its structure.

2. Phosphate group with the structure PO4 (3-).

3. Nitrogenous bases; which consists of two groups, Purines and Pyrimidines. The Purines are Adenine and Guanine while the Pyrimidines are Cytosine and Thymine (in DNA) or Uracil (in RNA). These bases all have a Nitrogen atom in their structure, hence their name.
