The zebra mussel was accidentally brought into the united states. it filters out large amounts of plankton from aquatic habitats. native species feed on these plankton. how is this likely to impact the biodiversity in the region

Biodiversity will decay since the producer, base organism in an ecosystem, will start to vanish and the same will happen to the species that depnd on it, etc.

I tried to explain it as easy as possible since there are still more negative things to happen than what meets the eye.

interphase

the division of a cytoplasm to form two separate daughter cells. usually occurs during telophase during mitosis. this and mitosis make up to mitotic (m) phase of the cell cycle
