It depends on how far you decrease the pH in the stomach. Decreasing pH (adding more H+ ions) causes the acidity to decrease. More H+ ions, more acidic. You could remedy this by decreasing the hydrogen ion concentration through the use of Calcium Carbonate, an antacid.

Another thing that’s worth mentioning is blood pH. You can actually cause your blood pH to become to basic by taking too much of an antacid, causing metabolicalkalosis.
