Example- when we drink water it is being utilised or absorbed by the intestine and helps to circulate materials in the whole body in the form of fluids like blood. It helps to maintain homeostasis when the body temperature rises.

In the process of cellular respiration, the break down of sugar occurs in presence of oxygen and the water is removed in this reaction.

Almost all the chemical reactions which occurred in human body involves the use of water or expelled water after the reaction takes place.
