What is gout? what are some of the theories about why gout develops in reptiles?

Gout is a type of arithritis , which occur due to the high amount of uric acid in the blood. The uric acid sometimes form crystal in the joints and develop pain , redness , swelling etc .A theory is that giving food to reptiles meat that are convey  to be herbivore , because to support those substances they don't have the correct digestive track . Other theories are dehydration or impaired kidney function.
