A computer is an electronic device that is used for processing of data or given a specific language to give information. One of it major component is the silicon which is present in the form of silicon chips. Either in the form of a resistor, transistor or as a  semiconductor.

So the major similarity between the components of computer and soil is the presence of the basic element- silicon, in different forms.
