Is a disease like ebola considered an epidemic or a pandemic? explain why in your words pls

ebola is an epidemic because there was a time in 2006 in Africa where there was an outbreak of ebola. It was very easy to get because everyone around them had it. It was nearly impossible to get rid of all of it in Africa. Most were killed during the process and this is why ebola is a epidemic.
