Most populations on earth are affected by several factors such as a genetic drift mutations and natural selection which statement applies to a population that is experiencing changes in gene frequencies

The answer is; Evolution is occurring in the population

When the gene frequency is changing in a population it means some gene alleles are being slowly eliminated from successive generations and the other is being favored.  This means that one allele is giving an advantage in the environment while the other is offering a disadvantage. This is natural selection, which powers evolution., in progress.
