The physical environment encompasses the natural and man made part of the environment. Examples are mountains, lakes, valleys, rivers, etc.

The physical environment supports the activities of other components of the environment. All the bioitc and abiotic factors interacts to furnish this aspect of our environment.

This aspect of the environment helps to regulate and gives a balance to other aspects of the environment. We should note that all aspects of the environment constantly interacts with one another and are not independent of each other.

the level of progesterone is low at the pre-ovulatory phase of the cycle but it gradually increases and the levels are high at the luteal phase. if pregnancy occurs, the level of progesterone will be high throughout the pregnancy.

if egg is fertilized and the mother gets pregnant, progesterone starts preparing the uterus for the implantation. it starts building up the lining of uterus and make it hostile of the period of pregnancy.
