How does the motion of particles in a gas change as the gas cools?

they move more slowly.

they move in a more circular pattern.

Yes the answer would be (A) its back to the basics guys and if you dont get the question, here let me help basically think about this logically if you heat up a cube of ice whats it going to do freeze? obviously not its going to melt so the same thing applies vice versa if water is cooled will it melt? no its going to freeze when heat is applied to something the molecules tend to vibrate and sometimes sense molecules in solid are very close together when heat is applied those molecules start to move and sometimes if heated enough the molecules will start moving in a weird pattern and go passed each other by then it would have probably been a liquid now as for gases their molecules are incredibly spread apart they are going everywhere they are flying passed each other  so think about the basics when something is heated its molecule vibrate fast when something is cooled its molecules movement slow down so just think about that little sentence I just said and apply it to gasses when gas is cooled its molecules will slow down due to the temperature sorry this was so long I just wanted you guys to understand this because you need to know this so you can understand everything else see ya!
