What are karl von baer's four developmental principles?

Earlier in the embryo there is appearance of more gneral chaacters rather than the  special characters.The less general forms are developed from the more general forms.Every embryo of a given animal form, becomes separated from other forms. There is no resemblance of the embryo of a higher form with the other form.

Karl Von Baer gave four laws known as Von Baer's laws of embryology or the laws of development.These laws were given by him to explain how embryonic development takes place.These laws were as follows :

1. During the development of the embryo, first, there is the appearance of general characters followed by the appearance of special characters. 

2. The specialized characters are formed from the more generalized forms. 

3. the embryo of any given organisms becomes different from other species. 

4. there is no resemblance between the embryos of the different organism at later stages of development.
