Glucose is a 6 carbon sugar molecules which is too large to pass through cell membrane, so it is transported by active transport and Facilitated diffusion.

Tight junction prevent the movement of molecules through the space present between plasma membrane of adjacent cell, so the movement of the molecules enter the cell via diffusion or active transport.
