Explanation:

Incubation period of Non gonococcal uretritis is 7- 28 days. Onset is gradual.There may be no discharge and the only manifestation may be crusting in the perimeatal area in the morning.Fever and malaise are less commonly seen. Patient usually have a smarting feeling while passing urine.Associated symptoms are less severe. Organism which causes  Gonococcal ureteritis is caused by Neisseria gonorrhea.

Incubation period of Gonococcal ureteritis is 3- 5 days. Onset is abrupt. Assosciated symptoms are usually severe. Patients present with intense burning sensation while passing urine.
