Patient-oriented clinical research is a specific type of clinical study with humans, that requires an interaction between the patient and the investigator.  This research is performed to detect, treat and prevent human diseases as well as understand the disease's mechanism to develop technologies and create knowledge in this field. For example creating a less invasive technique to treat a patient, heart assist devices, vaccines, inhaled medicine for pulmonary problems and cellular therapies.

Disease-oriented clinical research is a study that seeks to understand molecular or cellular features that are linked to human diseases to identify their response to treatment. For example identify cancer target molecules, use of genes and proteins for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, stem cells to treat autoimmune diseases and genetic therapies to treat molecular and cellular problems.

these macromolecules could either be amino acids, proteins or nucleic acids. they are responsible for the chemical changes and reactions that affects largely the cell and its composition. take for instance the cytoplasm of the cell where these organelles are settled. these simple organelles are composed of macromolecules which ignites and catalyses different functions that enables cells, in macro-perspective in motion and metabolism. in intestines for example, metabolism happens and breaking down parts of a food to simpler compounds that are used and these nutrients delivered throughout the body and again broken down by into smaller components.

osteogenesis imperfecta (oi) refers to a congenital ailment of bones. in the condition, the bones become brittle or fragile. this ailment is a general result of the defect or mutations in the genes (colia1 or colia2). this mutation results in imperfect collagen formation either in quantity or quality wise.  

there are eight kinds of oi defects, and each kind varies with certain distinctions in symptoms. the usual symptoms include frequent bone fractures, loss of hearing in infants, protruding eyes, discoloration of the white in the eyes, respiratory issues, loosening of the joints, short stature, and other symptoms.
