Why is DDT still a controversial issue? Is it because DDT or () it design primarily to be  a highly  effective insecticide, which led to its widespread use as a general pesticide in agriculture. Since the world needs much attention about environmental problems, DDT is contributing chronic effects on human since this is toxic to life. It affects the nervous system, immune system, kidneys and liver. It also affect the human chromosomes.
