Rudolf Virchow, a Polish born, German scientist is often remembered  as the Father of  Patholgy". His works is well known because his innovative approach  is the first to determine the causes of various diseases by testing or examining their effects on organs and tissues. He was also the first or among the first to use animals in his research and as a result, he was the first to advocate to name numerous diseases and developed medical terms.
