Freshwater and marine water share many similarities and differences. Here are just a few ways that they are. Despite being different from each other, they are both essential parts of the water cycle. They both are also very important habitats for many different species. Surprisingly, they also have the same chemical as well as the same amount of minerals in both of the ecosystems. Along with the two being a habitat, they both address the aquatic development.  Following along with similarities comes differences. Marine water carries much higher amounts of suspended chemicals is related to freshwater. Because of this, marine water holds a greater amount of salt, then that of freshwater. Of course, the animals existing in these two habitats, hold many different living organisms, because of the two different states of water, there are different organisms in the bodies of water.
