In domestication wild plants and animals are adapted for the use of humans. A Domesticated species is used for getting food, clothing, medicine, etc. Humans domesticated plants 10000 years ago which evident  the turning point of human history.

The domestication of plants results in introduction to farming which helped humans to get more diverse food and to make permanent civilization. After the domestication of plants people got another option for food apart from animal hunting.  

Domestication of animals allowed people to do more efficient farming because they were used to plow the field which results in easy farming.  

Therefore domestication of plants and animals enabled humankind to raise their lifestyle.
