In an ecosystem, remember that both, the abiotic and biotic factors are equal important and interconnected to have am equilibrium in the trophic web inside the ecosystem.

Humans, normally break this equilibrium by taking more living things or resources from a place, so another living things do not satisfy its needs, this is how humans break food web in an ecosystem.

If we as humankind, can remember how the old cultures lived, they hunted some living things, but then they preserve another species to maintain the equilibrium.  Also, remember that humans can help to recover a damage ecosystem, like reforestation in an area damage by fire.
