The earth system is divided into four main components-Geosphere,,atmoshpere,hydrosphere and biosphere. These components are inetgrated with one another.

For billions of years all these layers are interlinked and  deeply affected one another.For instance,melting of glaciers and polar regions ice (cryosphere) returns to the oceans (hydrosphere) results sea level water rises which turn into floods and destroys the low-lying land (lithosphere) and affect coastal regions life (biosphere).
