give an example of how you could determine whether or not a trait was displaying incomplete dominance. what would you do? what would your results have to be for the trait to be incomplete dominant?

Incomplete dominance can be described as a phenomenon in which the dominant trait is not completely dominant over the recessive trait. Incomplete dominance can be determined when the dominant and the recessive trait merge to form a third type of trait. A new phenotype arises due to such a cross.

For example, when a black-feathered chicken is crossed with a white chicken and their alleles shown incomplete dominance, then offsprings having blue feathers can be seen.

angiosperms are highly evolved plants, they produce seeds which are enclosed within in a carple. these are the largest group of plants on earth. they include trees, shrubs, herbs and small flowering plants. angiosperms exhibit a flowering stage in their life cycle. the flower serves the function of reproduction and fruit formation in majority of angiosperms. dicot is the term used to describe flowering plants that have two seed leaves. dicots are plants which develop seeds which split into two parts called cotyledons. each cotyledon contains one embryo.

here, a small purple flower development indicates that the plant belongs to angiosperms and having two embryonic leaves indicates it belongs to dicots.
