Take a beaker and fill it with water. Using a spring balance measure Its upward force or buoyant force. Write down. Now repeat it this time using salt solution. The buoyancy or upward force must be higher in this case. As solute is added to a solvent it makes it much more denser. According to Archimedes's Principle : when an object is partially or fully immersed in a liquid the upward force experienced by it is directly proportional to the weight of the water it displaces. In the salt solution which is denser it displaces more water thus creating a stronger force.
