Soil conservation is necessary because it helps to preserve and protect the soil. When it is done,optimal yield is close to guaranteed due to it aerating the soil, reducing erosion, providing humus(organic matter). Soil conservation can be achieved by crop rotation and afforestation.This is one of the reasons why afforestation is being campaigned for all over the world.
