Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. Antibiotics can work by either killing bacterial cells or by preventing the spread of bacteria. Antibiotics can kill bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cells from completely forming a cell wall. Antibiotics that keep bacteria from spreading can do so by preventing them from performing binary fission. Using the information from the table, select TWO reasons why these types of antibiotics would not work to treat viruses.
