temperatures, has flatlands, and very little vegetation. What are 3 adaptations a bear could have to
thrive in this environment? Explain how each adaptation is necessary for survival.

Sub-zero temperature indicates that the climate will be cold and there will be snow as well, especially during long winters. So the adaptations would be related to cold climate. We can expect the bears to adapt the cliamte accordingly. These could be:

Bears will develop thick layers of fat and more fur which could act as an insulation and avoid disspiating body heat.It is also possible that the generations of bears will have smaller surface area to volume ratio. This would also help in avoiding body heat loss.Bears might develop larger feet so that they can have better grip on ice sheets and distribute their body weight to avoid any slippage.
