Pancreatic enzymes were elevated, and the doctor diagnosed acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis. After her surgery to remove her gallbladder and clear the obstructed bile duct, the woman recovered uneventfully, and her pancreatitis resolved. Now she wants to know what this surgery has done to her ability to produce bile and digest food. What is the answer? Pick the best answer.
