Explain why animals cannot get energy from photosynthesis.

According to what i learned in biology class ,The green light we can see is not/cannot be absorbed by the plant, so , it cannot be used to do photosynthesis. plants are autothrops .

Plants, humans and other animals depend on glucose as an energy source, but they are unable to produce it on their own and must rely ultimately on the glucose produced by plants. So we can say that animals and humans are heterotrophs.
