The pre-mRNA strand is a gene that is transcribed into mRNA. Arrange the mRNA so that it codes for the correct protein. A pre m R N A strand shows a gene with the following pattern: Blue exon, orange intron, green exon, pink intron, lavender exon, yellow intron, beige exon. The initiation site is on the left next to the blue exon. THe termination end is on the right, next to the beige exon. The m R N A strand has four spaces.
