Yes. This is possible due to dominant allele.The phenotypic manifestation in an individual is as a result of genotypic  combination or interaction. The genotype combination of a dominant allele on homologous chromosomes reflects dominance when the two allele are  dominant(TT) or  the other is heterozygote  dominant  (Tt).Thus they exhibit same phenotype ; tallness, since they are both tall,(T-represented) dominance but different gene combination (Tt ,TT.)

Thus, it is only in the absence of dominant allele that the recessive allele  can be manifested, or if  two recessive allele are inherited from each of the parent,as tt - homozygous recessive.
